A PRIVATE PHILANTHROPIC VENTURE
Who We Are
sTF5 Care is a private philanthropic venture that aims to create positive and permanent system change in disadvantaged communities in the Arab world with a focus on Palestine and Jordan. Its three pillars of activity comprise health, entrepreneurship education and community needs. It was founded by Samer Tawfiq Fakhouri, a Jordan-based business leader who has built and scaled numerous commercial entities successfully and is now applying this expertise to his philanthropic activities. sTF5 Care has adopted the approach of ‘’Venture Philanthropy’’ which aims to create long-term sustainable impact by using an evidence-based approach, working hands-on with local communities - being focused on the quality of outcomes rather than the quantity of initiatives it engages in. sTF5 Care believes that delivering social impact requires strong input from the local community, a good understanding of ‘’gaps in the market’’ so as not to duplicate existing initiatives and a commitment to partnerships where others are doing similar work that could help multiply impact. sTF5 Care also believes in the need to align with the work of the public sector such that its philanthropic efforts are aligned with national and international efforts to build a better world.
Vision
sTF5 Care aims to address development gaps in the Arab region related to healthcare and education thereby supporting the regional delivery of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3 and 4.
Mission
sTF5 Care works with grassroots organizations in Jordan and Palestine to deliver evidence-based health and education solutions while also supporting broader community development.

sTF5 CARE FOUNDATION was established by Samer Fakhouri as a testament to the enduring legacy of Mr. Tawfiq Fakhouri, an esteemed mentor and beacon of hope for the community, who embodied integrity, humility and generosity and was always willing to give back. Samer’s experience coupled with the influence of his family’s values inspired the birth of sTF5 Care.

Great Work!
The Water Well and Public Garden in Jaba’ are pioneering charitable projects implemented in the loving memory of the virtuous and righteous businessman, the late Tawfiq Fakhouri, Abu Shaker, may God have mercy on him and be kind to his soul. The projects provided a radical solution to the water scarcity problem in Jaba’ and its neighbouring villages, which will also contribute to improving the agricultural and irrigation sectors, reducing water costs, and exempting vulnerable households from paying fees. The project represents a historical achievement and an awaited dream for the residents of Jaba’ and its neighbouring areas, who felt blessed and grateful for this generosity. This outstanding achievement will remain a testament to the charitable work and ongoing charity that we are proud of. May God mercy the soul of the late Tawfiq Fakhouri, and may he reward him of the highest places in paradise.
I am deeply honored and grateful to have received the generous funding support from STF5care! Community service and advocacy in the healthcare system have been the driving forces behind my pursuit for a PhD degree. My research focuses on investigating the changes occurring in the aged heart, with the goal of targeting potential therapeutics to slow down the aging process in women's hearts. Aligned with STF5care's dedication to prioritizing community well-being, this scholarship provides both the means and encouragement for me to make a significant impact in healthcare.
