sTF5 CARE FOUNDATION
sTF5 CARE FOUNDATION was established by Samer Fakhouri as a testament to the enduring legacy of Mr. Tawfiq Fakhouri, an esteemed mentor and beacon of hope who embodied integrity, humility and generosity and was always willing to give back to his community. Samer’s experiences coupled with his family’s values inspired the establishment of sTF5 Care when he aspired to share the privilege of access to medical care and a supportive network of family and friends, with the wider Multiple Sclerosis (MS) community. Samer’s personal experience inspired him to embark on a philanthropic mission aimed at providing critical support services to this community driven by his conviction that access to proper medical care and support is a fundamental right of all MS patients.
The creation of the foundation, in collaboration with internationally renowned research entities, was aimed initially at supporting the MS community through medical research and outreach. Later on, the foundation’s mission was broadened in to include entrepreneurship education, given the family legacy of success in business and enterprise. Samer envisions transforming the learning journey of young people helping to support youth talent from various socio-economic backgrounds and to empower them to become entrepreneurs capable of addressing the economic challenges facing their country. sTF5 Care then further extended its mission to include community engagement with a specific focus on raising awareness of issues in Palestine and building advocacy platforms.
The positive impact on people’s lives that has resulted from the work of the foundation has reinforced Samer’s commitment to his philanthropic mission further cementing the family’s legacy of benevolence and dedication to fostering positive change within society.
