Our Executive Team

Maram Fakhouri

Deputy Chairman
Maram Samara Fakhouri holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering and served at HM Private Office RHC as Director of Business Development (KADDB Industrial & Military Agency). Since 2015 Maram has focused her efforts on supporting Multiple sclerosis (MS) patients who lack access to the resources they need in Jordan and across the region. She co-founded and leads as the Vice Chairman of Nemat AlTawfiq for Training & Rehabilitation and sTF5 Care. Maram’s philanthropic work also extends to Education, Medical & Mental Health fields, by working closely with UNRWA providing relief to refugee camps, and Ruwwad Al-Tanmeya providing aid to disenfranchised communities through child development, grass-roots youth organizing and community support.

Shireen Faraj

Head of Programs and Operations
Shireen Faraj has more than 16 years of experience in managing development programs, from program design to program closure with a focus on M&E and financial management. Driven by her passion to serve vulnerable communities, Shireen has a solid experience in providing a holistic strategic approach for programs that aligns the SDGs, with expertise in educational reform, parenting and early childhood development, gender mainstreaming, as well as socio-economic empowerment programs.

Farah Mihyar

Communications Officer
Farah Mihyar enriches sTF5 Care as our Communications Officer. She is pivotal in shaping the strategic media direction and enhancing stakeholder engagement. Farah leads the creation of engaging content across our platforms, significantly advancing our mission of systemic change in health, education, and community development. Her responsibilities also include conducting market research, and forging key partnerships to meet communication objectives. Prior to joining sTF5 Care, Farah gained valuable experience in business development in the UK. She holds a Master’s degree in Digital Asset and Media Management from King’s College London, demonstrating strong proficiency in digital media strategies and stakeholder engagement.

Aya Khaled

Administration and Program Officer
Aya Khaled offers invaluable support as an administrative assistant where she fulfills an array of responsibilities. Some of her duties include collecting data relevant to both sTF5 Care (not-for-profit philanthropic company) and Ne’mat Al Tawfiq outpatient care center (our initiative). Aya assists in the monitoring and evaluation processes such as data collection. Aya is also responsible as for our media, internal and external communication on behalf of sTF5 Care and Ne’mat al Tawfiq. Prior to her tenure with sTF5 Care, Aya earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Samer Tawfiq Fakhouri

EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

Samer Tawfiq Fakhouri is a pioneering Arab entrepreneur and the founder of sTF5 Care. Since the establishment of his philanthropic venture, he has leveraged his extensive business acumen, spanning multiple sectors, to ensure maximum social impact. His pioneering experience as an entrepreneur who has successfully established and scaled multiple commercial entities, has informed his capacity to use innovation and visionary thinking, to drive positive and permanent social change in the community.

As the Executive Chairman at Eqbal Investment Co. (EICO), a publicly traded entity listed on the Amman Stock Exchange, Samer has expanded the reach of one of Jordan’s most significant publicly listed companies into a global operation with subsidiaries worldwide. This success culminated in EICO being acquired by international actors transforming it into one of the region’s most high-profile private equity transactions.

As the Chairman at Triumph Venture Capital, an investment company renowned for its excellence in the realms of banking and finance, and its proficiency in structuring deals that involve both debt and equity, Samer has shown exceptional leadership building a top talented team with a culture of high performance and maximum efficiency.

The principles behind the success of these commercial ventures underpin Samer’s aspirations for his philanthropic investments. He brings his commitment to efficiency, focus and high value outcomes to his Foundation’s portfolio with a view to ensuring that every philanthropic dollar committed ensures a positive return to the community. This approach reflects the vision of and legacy of his late father, Tawfiq Fakhouri, who was equally focused on creating positive life-changing programs throughout the Arab region.

Clare Woodcraft

Member
Clare Woodcraft is an independent advisor on philanthropy who works with foundations, corporates, and family offices to help them maximize the impact of their giving. She is the former Executive Director and Fellow at the Centre for Strategic Philanthropy (CSP) at the Cambridge Judge Business School, was earlier the CEO of Emirates Foundation, the national foundation of the UAE and the Deputy Director of Shell Foundation, a leader in the philanthropic sector. She has experience as a practitioner, a teacher (notably on the Executive Education of the CSP program at Cambridge) and a strategic advisor.

Saif Saleh

Member
Saif Saleh is an accomplished executive with expertise in corporate strategy, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and investments. He started his career in California where he worked in various roles with two fortune 100 companies. After that he spent 12 years in various executive roles with Eqbal Investments Co and its subsidiary Al Fakher, now known as Advanced Inhalation Rituals "AIR”. Currently, Saif is the CEO of Samer Fakhouri's family office SAKS CAPITAL, where he oversees the management of their investments. Saif is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering and holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance.

Dr Mohammad Abu Doush

Member
Mohammad Abu Doush, MD is a graduate of University of Jordan School of Medicine. Dr Abu Doush has trained at University of Jordan Hospital in Amman. Afterwards, he completed internships at The University Hospital, Ohio and at the Cleveland Clinic in the United States. Since 2020, Dr Abu Doush has been practicing in the Department of Family Medicine at Abdali Medical Centre in Amman, Jordan as a medical doctor and as an attending in the Health Assessment Program for preventive medicine. He is also the founder of “The Choice”, a medical institution that provides personalized and highly tailored medical care. He is currently the medical advisor for sTF5 Care and is a keen advocate for the advancement of the health care industry.
