sTF5 Care is committed to handling personal information responsibly and only for defined purposes connected with our work.

Information you provide
When you contact sTF5 Care, subscribe to updates or submit a funding enquiry or application, you may provide information such as your name, organisation, email address, country, message and documents relevant to your enquiry.
Website and technical information
Like most websites, stf5care.org collects some technical information automatically:
- Visitor statistics. We use Jetpack to count page views and see, in general terms, where visits come from.
- Security. Wordfence protects the site against attacks and records the IP addresses of visits and login attempts.
- Spam protection. Google reCAPTCHA checks that forms are completed by people rather than automated programs. It is provided by Google and may set cookies.
- Form messages. When you send a message through a form on the site, a copy is stored in the website’s database as well as being emailed to us.
How information is used
- To respond to enquiries and communicate about the reason you contacted sTF5 Care.
- To review funding or partnership information where you have submitted it for that purpose.
- To manage subscriptions or communications where you have chosen to receive them.
- To keep the website secure and understand how it is used.
- To meet applicable legal, governance or record-keeping requirements.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. It may be processed on our behalf by the providers that run the website and our communications, including our website hosting and email providers, Automattic (Jetpack), Defiant (Wordfence) and Google (reCAPTCHA). We may also share information where required by law or for legal or governance reasons.
Retention, security and your rights
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was provided for, or as required for legal, governance or record-keeping reasons. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it.
