Funding starts with strategic fit.
We review opportunities selectively. A clear gap, credible delivery capacity and a measurable route to value matter more than the volume of activity proposed.
sTF5 Care considers funding opportunities that align with its Healthcare, Entrepreneurship or Community Development pillars. Submission of an application does not guarantee review, due diligence or funding. Where an opportunity fits current priorities, the team may request further information, a formal proposal and supporting documents.
A strong initial submission should make five things clear.
The gap
What problem or opportunity are you addressing, for whom, and what evidence shows that it matters?
The fit
How does the proposed work align with one of sTF5 Care’s three pillars and current strategic direction?
The approach
What will you do, why is this method appropriate, and what already exists in the same space?
The capability
Why is your organisation well placed to deliver? Include relevant track record, governance and technical capacity.
The result
What should change, how will progress be measured, and what would remain useful after the funding period?
- Strategic alignment with the approved portfolio and pillar priorities.
- A proven track record in the relevant area or a credible rationale for a new model.
- Institutional capacity to manage the work responsibly.
- Legal, technical, portfolio and financial information appropriate to due diligence.
- Clear objectives, scope, delivery roles and expected results.
- A proportionate monitoring and reporting approach.
- Partnerships or complementary capabilities required for successful delivery.
- Potential for learning, continuation or durable value where relevant.

If the opportunity appears aligned with current strategy, sTF5 Care may contact the organisation for clarification, a fuller proposal or due-diligence documents. Opportunities that complete selection successfully may be prepared for internal review and, where appropriate, Advisory Board consideration. Approved work moves into formal agreement, monitoring and reporting.
sTF5 Care may decide not to progress an opportunity even where the proposed work is credible. Portfolio fit, timing, available resources, concentration of existing commitments and the comparative value of other opportunities can all affect a decision.
